Great review!! I actually have the Clear FX matte primer, and it doesn’t really do much for oil control for me. I have oily skin too, and I gret shiny easy, so I think I will try the Body Shop one since I’m not near a Sephora store, so thanx!!

oh great I’m glad you like it! Yeah I like that it dries to a matte finish and stays on so long even with oily skin. lol. Yeah the MUFE mat + velvet is perfect for oily skin, especially in the summer. Another great thing about it is that you don’t have to set it with powder.

Thanks I’m glad you liked it! Hmm I’m sorry the Cover FX one doesn’t work for you. I would say out of all the primers I’ve tried the Mac Matte Cream and the Body Shop Matte It Face It and Lips. I just heard a trick that putting matte cream on your lips prior to putting on lipstick/gloss makes it last longer and go on smoother.

Well it has salicylic acid in it, which exfoliates your skin and treats acne, so if your skin in sensitive to salicylic acid, then that could cause the burning.

I think the make up for ever hd primer would be best when your skin is dry and flaky. And when your skin is more oily I would recommend the cover fx mattifying and acne primer
